Project Valor Beginning Firearms Safety and Introduction to Pistol Beginning May 15th, 2026

This course is designed for the newcomer to firearms who wants an in-depth study that gives each student a solid foundation in firearms safety and function, then adds a working program to build the skills needed to establish a solid foundation in safe firearm use.

This Course Offers:

-A fundamental understanding of firearm safety and the 4 marshal rules for gun handling safety.

-In-depth understanding on how your personal firearm functions and how it breaks down to be properly cleaned and maintained. (Basic cleaning kit included $50 value)

-This course will use a training firearm for in class dry fire practice. When the class is complete, the student takes home to continue practicing the skills they learn safely in their home. (TitanX Training System and holster included $275 value)

-The course will focus on foundational skills that teach each shooter proper methods of gaining a master grip on their weapon, safely drawing and re-holstering their weapon, sight alignment and sight picture along with an understanding about trigger control tactics they can practice.

-The course will include training with a laser operated simulation system to help understand why fundamental skills are necessary and how a person could react under stress.

-Expert and guest speakers will be used to help bring the most knowledge in our area to our students.

The course will be broken into 4 sections where the 3rd and 4th components include live fire on the range. In order to receive a certificate of course completion, each student will be required to complete all 4 sections of the course and pass a scored basic gun firearm safety and shooting skill qualification drill.

• This course will maintain a challenge competition with a running leaderboard for best in course. The score from the basic shooting skill qualification will be used as the standard. The leader at the end of the month in June, September and December will receive a certificate for $200 towards their next training course. In the event of a tie, the leaders will engage in a shoot off, where the winner takes all.

This course will be extremely educational and helpful to the beginner, and a refresher to those that may have started in the past but not progressed very far in their shooting journey Additional benefits include taking home the tools necessary to clean and maintain their weapons and the training system to continue to build their skills. This course a MUST for anyone wanting to advance their firearms skills and knowledge.

Class One will focus on basic firearm safety and getting to know your personal firearm. We will work hands on to teach you to break down your weapon, know the components and their function, and how to clean and maintain your firearm. The course will include a gun cleaning kit and the knowledge of how to use it.

Class Two will move into basic shooting skills and draw techniques from the holster. We will focus intensely on exact movements, proper grip, sight alignment and picture, trigger press concepts, support hand function and other critical components to proper pistol shooting. This class will come with the TitanX Dry Fire Training system and a range holster for the tool.

Class Three will develop the basic skills installed from the previous class and work to improve and add to your skillset. We will focus on basic loading and unloading skills and learn about the 4 types of malfunctions and how to resolve those issues. Class 3 will begin in the classroom and finish at the range where we will move into live fire drills. You will learn about range safety requirements, expectations and instructor commands. Before heading to the range, each student will take a basic firearms safety test and show hands on understanding to the instructor cadre. We will spend 4 hours sending rounds safely and properly downrange. Class fee $200.00

Class Four will continue to develop your shooting skills and will begin to induce stress through time constraints and challenging commands. Your mind is a far greater weapon that your firearm and we will put your thinking into action along with your newly learned skillset. The classroom portion of this class will include a laser range training session where you will be introduced into challenging scenarios to navigate. Before leaving the classroom for the afternoon range session, each student will take a basic firearms safety test and s We will finish the afternoon at the live range with more drills and instruction, then wrap up the course with the basic shooting skills test and challenge.

Course Fee:

Class 1- $125.00 and includes a gun cleaning kit to take home.

Class 2- $375.00 and includes the TitanX system and range holster (fits Glock 17 and 19)

Class 3- $200.00 includes live fire range time

Class 4- $250.00 includes laser range session and live fire range time

**A $100.00 Discount will be given to students that pay for all 4 classes in advance ($850.00 Total)

Requirements:

-Your own Pistol with a proper holster with at least 2 magazines with 250 rounds of ammunition.

-Classes will be limited to 12 students per session. We will run up to 3 classes per week depending on course demand.

-This is an adult class for both men and women 15 years old and older.

-Students must complete the courses in order from Class 1 through Class 4

*The TitanX Training System is very popular and has an order lead time of 3-4 weeks. Your deposit will be required 30 days prior to the start of your scheduled Class 2 to ensure we can order your system and have it arrive in time to use in class.
